A Twilight Tale: Claire and Gary’s Wedding at the Clifton Arms

There is a unique magic to a twilight wedding. The atmosphere is naturally more intimate, the lighting is dramatic, and the air is filled with a specific kind of anticipation. Recently, I had the pleasure of capturing Claire and Gary’s beautiful celebration at the Clifton Arms Hotel, and it was a day (and evening) to remember.

Morning Glow: Bridal Preparations

The day began in the bridal suite, which was a hive of activity and laughter. Claire was surrounded by her six bridesmaids and one flower girl, making for a lively and heartwarming morning.

Once Claire was in her gown and the final touches of hair and makeup were complete, we took a moment of quiet. I’m a firm believer that some of the best shots come from simple, natural light.

We grabbed a few classic portraits of the groom looking sharp against the hotel's stately exterior—a calm moment before the big event.

As the sun began its descent, it was time for the ceremony. The room was perfectly set for a twilight wedding, creating a warm, cozy glow as Claire made her way down the aisle.
