Sarah & Andrew
26th August 2025
The day I photographed Sarah and Andrew's wedding, it was a photographer's dream. The sun was out, casting a beautiful glow over the Glendower Hotel in St Anne's, and a crowd of friends and family had gathered, their excitement buzzing in the air.
My morning began in a room full of laughter and a hint of nervous energy as I documented Sarah’s final moments as a bride-to-be. I captured her radiant smile as she slipped into her dress, the details of her veil, and the supportive presence of her bridesmaids. The candid shots from this part of the day are often the most cherished.
Stepping outside, I found Andrew and his best man waiting by the entrance, looking sharp and ready. We took a few relaxed portraits, using the hotel's classic facade as a backdrop, capturing a quiet moment of anticipation before the big event.
The ceremony was a beautiful display of emotion. I moved around discreetly, capturing the exchange of vows, the looks of pure joy on both Sarah and Andrew's faces, and the tears in the eyes of their loved ones. Afterward, the air filled with colorful confetti as everyone cheered, followed by a series of cheerful group photos that captured the full scope of their wonderful community.
The highlight for me was our trip to the dunes. The wind was gentle, the light was golden, and the natural landscape offered a dramatic and romantic setting for photos of Sarah and Andrew, joined by the bridesmaids. It was a perfect opportunity to get creative and capture some truly stunning portraits.
The day's narrative came to a close as the sun set. I photographed the magic of their first dance, a moment that felt like they were the only two people in the room. The final event was the cutting of the cake, a sweet and celebratory end to a truly perfect day.
