I had the wonderful pleasure of photographing the wedding of Oliver Moore and  Lydia Stringer in Lytham this weekend, on what turned out to be a beautiful sunny day compared to the previous day which was grey and very windy.

The day started off at the stringer's family home in Lytham with the bridal preparations, whilst the groom was getting ready at the couple's home in Saint Anne's.

I started the day off, as usual, photographing the dress the flowers the shoes etc, however, on this occasion, the dresses that were supposed to arrive the night before were slightly delayed and due to arrive at 10:30 this morning,  at around 11 am they arrived looking pristine crease-free and ready for the bride and bridesmaids.

Whilst the bride and the bridesmaids were getting ready, my assistant and second photographer Jonathan was over at the couple's house photographing Oliver and his best men getting ready, putting on their shirts, cufflinks & aftershave whilst enjoying a few drinks and nervous laughs.

Soon it was time to head to the church for the wedding ceremony at St Cuthbert's in Lytham, a wonderful church that overlooks the sea across church Rd. Ride hand her father arrives in the lovely wedding car for a few photos before heading up the long path to the church and to greet her husband Oliver to be.

it was a lovely wedding ceremony with just enough light coming in through the church windows to provide some wonderful photos of the wedding ceremony.

After the service it was time to head to the Clifton Arms Hotel for the wedding reception, with drinks, canapes, speeches and dancing, oh what a day this was going to be, with some wonderful people at a wonderful hotel on a bright summers day, what more could you ask for on your wedding day.
